Il 6 agosto 2020 l’attore e regista americano Matt Dillon ci ha onorati con una sessione privata di autografi, firmando nuovo materiale per le nostre aste di beneficenza destinate a sostenere i progetti scolastici del prossimo anno. Dillon esordì sul grande schermo in Over the Edge (1979) e divenne icona teen con pellicole come My Bodyguard (1980), Little Darlings (1980), Tex (1982), Rumble Fish (1983), The Outsiders (1983) e The Flamingo Kid (1984). Negli anni ’90 il suo successo proseguì con Drugstore Cowboy (1989), Singles (1992), The Saint of Fort Washington
(1993), To Die For (1995), Beautiful Girls (1996), In & Out (1997), There’s Something About Mary (1998) e Wild Things (1998). Ha debuttato alla regia con City of Ghosts (2002) e proseguito come attore in Factotum (2005), You, Me and Dupree (2006), Nothing but the Truth (2008), Sunlight Jr. (2013) e The House That Jack Built (2018). Ha vinto l’Independent Spirit Award per Crash (2004) e ha ottenuto nomination a Golden Globe e Oscar come miglior attore non protagonista. Nel 2015 ha recitato nella serie TV Wayward Pines, guadagnandosi la candidatura al Saturn Award. Matt Dillon Signs for History Life Onlus
On August 6, 2020, American actor and director Matt Dillon honored us with a private signing session, autographing new items for our charity auctions to support next school year’s initiatives. Dillon made his feature‐film debut in Over the Edge (1979) and rose to teen idol status with films such as My Bodyguard (1980), Little Darlings (1980), Tex (1982), Rumble Fish (1983), The Outsiders (1983), and The Flamingo Kid (1984). From the late ’80s onward, he found further success starring in Drugstore Cowboy (1989), Singles (1992), The Saint of Fort Washington (1993), To Die For (1995), Beautiful Girls (1996), In & Out (1997), There’s Something About Mary (1998), and Wild Things (1998).
He made his directorial debut with City of Ghosts (2002) and continued acting in Factotum (2005), You, Me and Dupree (2006), Nothing but the Truth (2008), Sunlight Jr. (2013), and The House That Jack Built (2018).
He won an Independent Spirit Award for Crash (2004) and received Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations. In 2015, he starred in FOX’s Wayward Pines, earning a Saturn Award nomination.
