BRUNO GAMBAROTTA BIOGRAPHY:
Bruno Gambarotta (Asti, May 26, 1937) is an Italian writer, journalist, television presenter, and actor. He is also a writer and director of radio and television programs; alongside his writing, gastronomy is one of his major interests—a subject he has also covered in his written work. He likes to describe himself as an “artisan writer” (*scrittore artigiano*), a term inspired by a typo made by a typesetter at the newspaper *La Stampa* who, in the text of an interview with him, inadvertently altered the original description of him as a “writer from Asti” (*scrittore astigiano*).
