DARIO ARGENTO BIOGRAPHY:
Dario Argento is an Italian filmmaker and critic. His influential work in the horror genre during the 1970s and 1980s, particularly in the subgenre known as giallo, has led him to being referred to as the “Master of the Thrill” and the “Master of Horror”. His films as director include the “Animal Trilogy”, consisting of The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970), The Cat o’ Nine Tails (1971) and Four Flies on Grey Velvet (1971); the “Three Mothers” trilogy, consisting of Suspiria (1977), Inferno (1980) and The Mother of Tears (2007); and the standalone films Deep Red (1975), Tenebrae (1982), Phenomena (1985), and Opera (1987). He co-wrote the screenplay for Sergio Leone’s Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) and served as George A. Romero’s script consultant on Dawn of the Dead (1978), of which he also composed the soundtrack with his long-time collaborators Goblin.
RENATO CASARO BIOGRAPHY :
Renato Casaro (born 26 October 1935) is an Italian artist known for his movie posters, which include films like My Name Is Nobody, Quadrophenia, Conan the Barbarian, Tenebrae, Octopussy, Never Say Never Again, Rambo: First Blood Part II (Int’l Version), Red Sonja and Flesh and Blood. He is considered one of the most important, influential and innovative Italian film poster artists. He has made hundreds of works dedicated to the cinema, becoming very popular abroad. He has also painted calendars, collectibles, book covers and album covers.
URBANO BARBERINI BIOGRAPHY :
Urbano Barberini Riario Sforza Colonna di Sciarra (born 18 September 1961), best known as Urbano Barberini or sometimes Urbano Barberini Sforza, is an Italian actor. He is also a translator, theater producer and artistic director. He is fluent in Italian and French languages and is mostly known for starring or appearing in many horror, fantasy and drama films, including the cult classic Dèmoni (Demons). His most recognized role in the English-speaking countries was in his work in Dario Argento’s film Opera though in the English dubbing, his voice was replaced with another actor’s deeper voice. The only DVD that retains his original voice on the English dub is the UK release from Arrow Films.
