Dino Zoff (born 28 February 1942) is one of football’s all-time greatest goalkeepers. Captain of Italy’s 1982 World Cup-winning team, he became the oldest player ever to lift the trophy at age 40. Zoff also won the 1968 European Championship, earning a total of 112 caps for Italy. At club level, he achieved major success with Juventus, winning 6 Serie A titles, 2 Italian Cups, and the UEFA Cup, and reaching two European Cup finals.Renowned for his calm and efficient goalkeeping style, Zoff holds the international football record of 1,142 minutes without conceding a goal (1972–1974).
