This original set of “Amero” banknotes was created and used during the production of Neill Blomkamp’s acclaimed science-fiction film Elysium, starring Matt Damon, Jodie Foster and Sharlto Copley.

Set in the year 2154, Elysium presents a divided future where the wealthy live aboard a luxurious space station while the rest of humanity struggles on Earth. The fictional “Amero” currency was specially designed by the production and appears throughout the film.

The lot includes multiple denominations featuring detailed futuristic artwork and security-style printing, making this set a fascinating example of modern movie prop design and an outstanding collectible for science-fiction fans.

Please note: the MRC Media Rights Capital Certificate of Authenticity shown in the photos is displayed solely to demonstrate the provenance of the original group of screen-used banknotes from which this set originates. The certificate itself is not included with this item.
