This is Book I only of the Institutiones Metaphysicae, originally issued in four books.

Contemporary full vellum binding with attractive aged patina
Plain spine with traces of the original gilt title, now mostly faded
Boards with normal wear for the age, minor rubbing and light abrasions to the edges
Condition
Original endpapers, with early handwritten ownership notes “De Martiis” on the front
Text block generally clean and sound, with expected age browning, scattered foxing and occasional stains
Some short marginal notes in brown ink in parts of the text (likely by an 18th/19th century student)
Inner hinges slightly tired but overall a tight and solid volume, no loose gatherings
Final leaves with light staining and small ink spots, text fully readable
